  Stayed there as a staff member in 2015. Actually, stayed FIRST as a customer in 2015, THEN accepted a job there. Was paid under the table, (although I insisted to be on the books!!), was docked out of my pay. Establishment is ran by crooks! Lots of illegal activity happening here. Owner doesn't really care about the guest experience. Place is serviced by a bunch of 20 somethings that get intoxicated nightly. This is why all the staff is unfriendly.... they're hungover! Yes, rooms are clean ( I cleaned them) , but the place is outdated and not fun. Expensive for what it is. Not worth it. You will be disappointed not to mentioned depressed. In the middle of nowhere with horrible weather, horrible people, like, just don't go.

  Back to the girl at the front desk.. we asked about horseback riding and before I could even finish my question I was interrupted and told to take a flyer off the wall behind me... she was also in the middle of telling her colleague that she was off work for the day.

  We stayed at campsite 95 which is apparently the best site. It was nice because there was nobody beside us and we were nice and close to the lookout spot. The experience itself was good and the site was nice and clean.

  Excellent group tent site, treed in and private. Outhouses are the cleanest I have ever seen and I've camped for 30 years. Easily the nicest, cleanest, smell free outhouses ever! Park was great for the kids and the lake access is beautiful. My only 'complaint' is the breed restriction rule which includes pitbulls, bull mastiffs and Rottweiler. I simply don't believe in breed discrimination. Otherwise, great sites and scenery.

  Stunning area with beautiful vistas at every corner. Campground was clean and the staff were friendly. The stalls are quite spacious and allow for pulling into them so you don't need to back in a camper. Would definitely come back here again.

  The camping sites are mostly pull though RV style, but the wal around the property is nice.

  The gal that served us in the restaurant was okay, but was not really friendly. When we were paying for our meal she was in the middle of a personal conversation with a coleague and ignored us.

  The young gentleman working at the grocery store is just generally unfriendly and looked like he wanted to smash his head on the counter in front of him.

  The staff.... I had several encounters with the staff and frankly it doesn't seem like any of them enjoy working there. I asked the front desk person about the WiFi and she told me I had to pay 5 dollars... no problem.... except I couldn't even get to the stage on my phone where I was prompted for a password and she just kept badgering me to pay 5 bucks and I kept trying to explain that I wasn't going to pay for something that wasn't going to work.

  Either management is an issue and causing staff to be miserable or they are not taking enough consideration when hiring.
